• Domain name, “thisplace.org /. net /. co.uk” (subject to availability) Note: Webi can advise on your choice of name as this can affect search engine positioning.
• Setup of email accounts (fred@thisplace.org.uk)
• Submission to search engines and Web Positioning (Search Engine Optimisation) — where does your site rank in search engines on set criteria?
• Meeting the W3C ‘accessibility guidelines’ (your organisation will want to demonstrate its social responsibility, and comply with legislation - click on the yellow badges on left for more information)

After one year, a renewal subscription of £30 is required for your name and ‘hosting’ (hosting means renting space on the Internet)

Conditions — Includes up to 3 months liaison, at least three meetings with you, continued development after this time is at ‘agreed rates’.

There is no obligation to continue using Webi for your web site.

Advanced Package - options: Chat room; Interactive quiz or test; polls and voting; enhanced image gallery. An extension for this package is also available to enable 'mysql' database driven web pages, extra £100 annual fee.

It is easy to upgrade packages above. At present Webi does not cater for 'E' commerce (either on online purchase or a donation online.)

Note — Domain Name Transfer can only take place with authorisation from the current owner. In some circumstances to may be appropriate to purchase a new name. If your domain name is already registered with an ‘agent’ (who facilitates your web pages on the Internet), the agent must be changed to CLARANET if it is not already, as this is the hosting service used by Webi. The link below explains this in more detail. nominet.org.uk

If you wish to move your domain name from your current 'registration agent' to another, firstly you should contact your current agent and ask them to move the name across to the new provider (CLARANET.) If your registration agent refuses to do this, or you are unable to contact them because they have ceased trading, you should contact Nominet and ask them to move the domain name for you.
